For teams with a season or two behind them. Faster rallies and proper rotations, still friendly.
Not sure? Most new teams start in Super Social and move up.
One fee for the whole season
Your team pays once for all 12 weeks. Nothing to pay at the venue, no surprise fees. With a squad of 5 to 8 players it works out to about $9 to $10 per player a week, and teammates pay their share in the app so the captain never chases money. Playing solo? Individuals pay $225 for the season.

Awesome environment for playing social sport! I've played futsal and volleyball with SportUP over the past couple of years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's great being able to sub in for other teams in your league, refs are friendly and fair, and there are numerous divisions within each sport to accommodate varying skill levels. 5 stars!
Joined Sportup last season to play volleyball and have genuinely loved every moment of it. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful, it's really well run and an all round great experience. Has a really good mix of skill levels meaning you're able to join just for the social aspect or play on a more intermediate level. Highly recommend anyone looking to pickup an old sport or try a new one!
Social volleyball has been so good, good refs and good sportsmanship from all teams. Definitely recommend signing up with friends!
Palm Beach volleyball FAQs
- How much does it cost to play volleyball in Palm Beach?
- Teams pay one fee for the 12-week season, with no weekly fees and nothing to pay at the venue. A squad of 5 to 8 players works out to about $9 to $10 per player a week, and teammates pay their share in the app. Individuals pay $225 for the season.
- I do not have a team. Can I still play?
- Yes. Register as an individual and we place you in a Palm Beach volleyball team with other solo players, so you do not need to know anyone.
- What skill level do I need?
- None. Half the comp said "I'm so rusty" on the way to their first game. The Super Social division is built for beginners and refs help you learn as you play. Teams with more experience play in the Social division when it runs.
- Where and when are the games?
- Indoor courts at Palm Beach Currumbin State High School, on Monday and Tuesday nights with game times between 6:00pm and 9:20pm. Your fixture time is published in advance, and there is free parking onsite.
- Is the competition mixed?
- Yes. Palm Beach volleyball comps are open divisions, so all genders are welcome in teams.
- How old do I need to be to play?
- SportUP comps are for adults, so all players must be 18 or over.
- When does the next season start?
- Seasons run back to back all year. The live start dates on this page show the next Palm Beach volleyball season for each night, or check availability to see what still has room.
Court time goes fast
Most people don't quit playing. They just sort of stop, and a few seasons go by, and then it's "next year". This is next year. Palm Beach runs a limited number of teams per division, so if you're thinking about it, this is the bit where you stop thinking.
