Remember when running around was just fun? Before it became 'exercise'. This is that again. Grab 5 to 8 mates, we sort the court, the ref, the fixtures and the ladder. All you bring is shoes.
One night a week of the thing you used to do for free after school. Turn up, the court is booked, the ref is ready and your team is waiting.
Beginner-friendly referees who coach as you go rather than lecture.
Music while you play. Game nights feel like a night out, not a PE class.
For the winners, and for the most social team in the comp.
Pay once for the season. No weekly fees, no cash on the night.
A real human to talk to by phone or text, before and during the season.
A Gold Coast manager runs your comp and is there on game night.
For beginners and casual players. Have not touched a volleyball since school? Perfect. Refs explain the rules as you go and nobody takes the score too seriously.
For teams with a season or two behind them. Faster rallies and proper rotations, still friendly.
Not sure? Most new teams start in Super Social and move up.
Your team pays once for all 12 weeks. Nothing to pay at the venue, no surprise fees. With a squad of 5 to 8 players it works out to about $9 to $10 per player a week, and teammates pay their share in the app so the captain never chases money. Playing solo? Individuals pay $225 for the season.

Heaps of fun, and one of the few places (if any) that do social indoor volleyball on the Gold Coast! Great people, and great vibes, the right level of competitiveness too!
I joined a team as an individual and it has been amazing, such a welcoming and fun environment
Have thoroughly enjoyed the SportUp volleyball competition. The vibe is always chill, friendly and inclusive for players of all skill levels. Would recommend to anyone thinking about trying a new sport!
Awesome environment for playing social sport! I've played futsal and volleyball with SportUP over the past couple of years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's great being able to sub in for other teams in your league, refs are friendly and fair, and there are numerous divisions within each sport to accommodate varying skill levels. 5 stars!
Joined Sportup last season to play volleyball and have genuinely loved every moment of it. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful, it's really well run and an all round great experience. Has a really good mix of skill levels meaning you're able to join just for the social aspect or play on a more intermediate level. Highly recommend anyone looking to pickup an old sport or try a new one!
Social volleyball has been so good, good refs and good sportsmanship from all teams. Definitely recommend signing up with friends!
Most people don't quit playing. They just sort of stop, and a few seasons go by, and then it's "next year". This is next year. Palm Beach runs a limited number of teams per division, so if you're thinking about it, this is the bit where you stop thinking.
