The SportUP Enjoyment Rating gives you the chance to let us know what you thought of your opposition:

- OVERALL HOW MUCH FUN THEY WERE TO PLAY AGAINST
At SportUP we know you play sport to keep fit and have fun. A huge factor of how much fun you have is who you play with (your team) but also who you play against!
We want to reward teams that are fun to play against :)
That’s why we have Social Points, based on your SportUP Enjoyment Rating.
Each team has the opportunity to give their opposition a Social Points rating from 0 to 3 (3 being the best).
You can use the guide below to give you an idea of what scores are acceptable to give and why you would give them.
Teams that score less than 3 Social Points on a regular basis will be contacted and put on probation until their scores improve. If these scores don’t improve, teams will be asked to leave the tournament. We want everyone to have fun, and we would rather remove the non fun teams to maintain a fun atmosphere than lose our fun teams because of one or two (un)fun teams.
Enjoyment Rating Guide
😁 3 Points
- Everyone on our team had an enjoyable time playing this opposition. There were no problems with any of their players.
- The team was fair in their gameplay and apologised if they made an accidental bad tackle.
- The team listened to the referee and followed any calls they made without exception.
- Overall, our game was fun.
🙂 2 Points
- Most of our players enjoyed playing against most of the opposing team’s players.
- Our opponents exhibited some sportsmanship throughout the game.
- Our opponents sometimes questioned calls from the referee.
- Overall, the game was okay, but there were a few isolated plays that weren’t enjoyable.
😐 1 Point
- Players did not enjoy playing against most of the opposing team’s players.
- Our opponents exhibited a lack of sportsmanship throughout the game.
- Our opponents did not listen to the umpires, resulting in rude, unsportsmanlike or dangerous instances.
- Overall, several discrepancies or opposing players made the game not much fun to play.
